celebrating Black history through care, creativity, and community

FEBRUARY 2026

a practice that grounds me

Black wellness is ancestral, innovative, and deeply communal. This space honors the people, practices, and stories—past and present—that remind us rest, joy, and care have always been part of our legacy.

wellness is to me...

thank you for sharing!

3 / we're prioritizing

week 1

Health one day at a time. Find a tracking app, get a nice nature walk in weekly, make a goal to count steps, add vegetables to each meal...do what you gotta do.

I'm doing a cardio challenge with my family via the free Nike Running app. Find your community, make a challenge, and lets get it!

week 2

8 minutes of stretching daily. Set your timer and let's move!
